About Hanseby
Hanseby is a small town full of mice who love books, old maps and adventures.
Every book is its own adventure, made for children who have just started reading on their own.
The Hanseby Universe
Hanseby began with one book, The Magic Sword, and is now growing into a whole town. Three new adventures are almost ready: Halloween in Hanseby, Hanseby the Detective and Christmas in Hanseby. Every book comes as a printed book, as a read-along book where each word lights up, and as a read-along film. Around the books we build games, colouring and exercises, so children can stay in Hanseby a little longer.
We make everything in Norwegian and English, with no ads and without collecting data about children.
The author
The Hanseby stories are written by Marianne Haaning.
The publisher
Hanseby is published by Atomic Models, a small studio in Oslo for illustration, animation and film. We draw Hanseby, make the read-along books and films, and run this website.
